We did not build Northwest AI from a whiteboard. We built it from inside the room, after organising the largest student-led AI summit in the North West of England.

The North West AI and Emerging Tech Summit was independently conceived and planned from the ground up, with no funding, no institution, and no playbook. Built on a single vision: to connect the North's AI ecosystem.
Mid 2025
Major partners confirmed
Google confirms participation. Manchester Digital come on board. Five universities, BPP University, University of Salford, Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Greater Manchester, and University of Bolton, join as academic partners. DTX, the UK's leading enterprise tech event, extends a speaker invitation.
September 2025
The summit delivers
The North West AI & Emerging Tech Summit is delivered to 1,000+ attendees, the largest student-led AI summit in the North West of England. AI founders, engineers, researchers, academics, and business leaders convene in Manchester for a landmark day in the region's tech history.

The problem becomes clear
